I received some light-up toys called FyrFlyz from the company and MomSelect to try out. Thanksgiving night was perfect weather here in Minnesota (for a change) so that all the kids were able to be outside most of the day. When darkness fell, we pulled out the FyrFlyz, got them out of the packages, turned them on and turned the kids loose.
Within a few short minutes it was clear my son was a natural.
His cousin managed some cool circles though, which was better than I could do!
My oldest daughter seemed to have inherited my abilities, though the x's were kind of cool too!
The other kids tried to make designs with varying success, but they all had fun trying the FyrFlyz out. At less than $10 each, these are an affordable toy that will allow kids to be creative and keep them constructively busy after dark. I can see these being really fun in the summer time when we're at the lake and the kids are up late outside anyway! I think we'll be bringing them on vacation this summer.
Another plus? They don't take up much room. That in itself is sometimes the best thing about a new toy!
